Post-op Visit
Chococat had his post-op vet visit yesterday. Good news is his is healing nicely and he will only need his cone of shame/stay crated for 10 more days! Not so good news is he has a bit of a respiratory infection that we need to watch. If we can get through the poopsplosion of 2018 that happened a few days ago we can get through anything!! Check out the video, too! We let him stretch his legs for a bit.
Great news Chococat had a good recheck!
Sorry about the cone and cage 10 more days UGH sorry Chococat . Purrkins had restrictions for 14 days and being a front leg amp we got away with a baby onesie and no cone. Same reason to keep him away from the insicion. Sorry about respiratory infection that adds to recovery buy you caught which is great you will get thru this all and Chocoat will hop on!
His name as in chocolate? Just curious every time I type his name autocorrect wants to say chocolate. Cute name either way! Hang in there recovery doesn’t last forever. Let us know what ends up working for Chococat as in litter box and litter.
Video’s work best by using youtube fyi. If you have a youtube account or you can open one . Then you will copy and paste the url into the blog it will show up and work. Shout if you need help .
Hugs,
Holly & Purrkins❤️
Awww Chococat, you are a real cutie! 🙂 And you are hoping around like a Champ! Just take it slooooow and easy, okay?
Sorry about the respiratory infection and glad youre keeping an eye on it.
Clearly Chococat is a strong and determined kitty with a lot of spunk! And they’re great traits to have during recovery!
Keep the good updates coming! Chocoat has a his sweet doggy pal. What’s his name?

Sally and Alumni Happy Hannah and Merry Myrtle and Frankie too!
Benny,
That’s Koda in the background. Koda and Choco are best friends even if they don’t know it yet lol..
Holly and Purrkins,
We name him Chococat after the Sanrio (Hello Kitty) characters. Chococat is Hello Kitty’s male counterpart, black cat with a little brown nose.
We also got a shallow rectangular litter box and he is able to climb in and out very easily now. Also, it has helped a lot that we have been letting him walk around supervised, so he is strengthen his rear leg and learning to balance a lot better.
We just can’t wait to get that cone off his head!! lol.
